First dates and venues for Western Hawk 19 have been released.


Ottawa – Gatineau-Ottawa Airshow
Chicago – Air and Water Show
Atlantic City – Thunder Over The Boardwalk
New York – New York Airshow, Stewart International
Toronto – Canadian International Airshow
St. Louis – Spirit of St. Louis Airshow & STEM Expo
Portland-Hillsboro – The Oregon International Airshow
Los Angeles (Huntington Beach) – The Great Pacific Airshow

From information published so far ,Ottawa and St Louis appear to be on the same weekend of Sept 7/8.

According to this facebook post it appears as though they will do a show at Gatineau on August 13th , not for the show .

Do the Reds transit to America via BIKF Keflavik?

Does anyone know of any tour companies or organisations planning any trips stateside?
Ive had a quick look at the venues and prices are coming up a bit scary for flights etc.

yes I think they do as they have to land hop for fuel

Thanks I know they have been over before but can't remember them hopping across, amazing how they get to places like Singapore.

Would imagine it'll be Keflavik and Narsassauaq (Greenland) and then Gander/Goose Bay or similar on the Candian North-East coast?

It appears that the air show in Portland is at McMinville (where the Spruce Goose and the museum is) and not Hillsboro

I notice somewhere that the International Trade Secretary Laim Fox and Defence Secretary Penny Mordaunt are due to see at least one of the shows in the States, I wonder wether either Fox or Mordaunt will still be in their positions when the tour actually starts or will Boris or Jeremy Hunt have reshuffled in the next couple of weeks>

According to the Miramar show website they are due there on the friday.

Possibly Stornoway before Kef? then after Gander/Goose Bagotville before their first display at Ottawa?

Just out of curiosity when do they leave for USA/ Canada?

26/27/28th August.
On the 27th they flypast the Air & Space museum at Dulles.
Does anybody know where in the Washington DC area they are operating out of and planned flypast routing for a friend who wants to get some pictures.

Anyone seen any date for when the Red Arrows start their journey back to the UK?
Obviously the last display is the 8th next week, but beyond that I haven't seen anything more definite about a departure date yet.
Also, with resurfacing ongoing at Lossiemouth, presumably there's at least a chance they might transit via Prestwick?
