In 2019, Spotting Group Volkel is once again delighted to be able to invite a large number of members from outside The Netherlands to the traditional spotters day prior to the Air Force Days at Volkel Air Base. This spottersday will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Some 100 spotters from abroad are welcome to participate in this spotters day.

The registration closes on Thursday, May 09th, 20:00h. We expect to send a confirmation of participation at the end of May to the tenderers.

If there are more registrations than assigned places, the others are put on a reserve list. When we can oversee the overall picture, there may be additional places that allow us to place multiple enthousiasts.
If you are a member of a Dutch spotter organisation, like for instance spotting group Volkel, do not sign in on both as we will disregard double entries.
The spotter's day will start in between 07:45h and 08:45h. Please do make it on time, at 08:45h the gate closes irrevocably. The day will end around 16:30h - 17:00h. In the meantime, there will be no possibility to enter or leave the base, simply because no transport is available for this.
The costs for this day will be 10 euros, to be paid in cash on arrival at the gate. Passport / ID card verification will also take place here. So make sure you have your passport / ID card on the ready. If someone gets a new passport or ID between the time of registration and the spotter's day, please let us know in time. In the registration form you will be ask to specify with which type of ID card you are going to Identify yourself at that gate. It is vital to take that specific document with you.
There will be toilets and catering. Toilets are free, catering at own costs.
The use of stairs is not prohibited but we want to discourage. If the participant does take a ladder, he will have to take a seat at the back. The organization will closely monitor this.
