Re: Sanicole 2019 - 13th and 15th September
Update today 2nd April
A powerful demonstration of nordic airpower from our NATO partners is heading to Sanicole.
For the first time ever, the Danish air force will take part in our show, and they do so with a rare performance by their massive C-130 transport legend with an unforgettable demonstration of stunning agility and its ability to outshine the sun!
The Norwegian air force will also make a rare appearance with two aircraft types, the secretive Falcon 20 electronic warfare aircraft escorted by a pair of front-line F-16 fighters.
C-130 Hercules
Manufacturer: Lockheed-Martin
Country: Denmark
The awe-inspiring C-130J Hercules that the Danish airforce will present is the modernized version of this legendary transport aircraft by our main sponsor Lockheed-Martin. This four-engined heavylifter can operate from rough terrain and has been involved in countless relief missions, as well as proving itself in support of NATO military operations. Don’t miss the unforgettable final pass of this awesome display of agility by a giant of the sky, throwing out countless infrared decoys called flares, used to protect against heat-seeking missiles.
Falcon 20
Manufacturer: Dassault
Country: Norway
The Norwegian airforce reconfigured two of the famous Falcon 20 business jets to capable electronic warfare platforms. Thanks to the hushkit, the Norwegian version is a lot quieter than legacy versions of this popular aircraft, but it is the electronics inside that make this twin-engined jet based at Gardermoen in southern Norway such a potent weapon in the modern-day electronic battlefield.
F-16 Fighting Falcon
Manufacturer: Lockheed-Martin
Country: Norway
Norway was one of the original European countries to join the F-16 programme in the 1970s, and just like the Belgian air force, they are soon transitioning to the F-35. They operate these upgraded fighters, which have been involved in several high-profile NATO operations, from Bodo and Orland. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see two of these powerful aircraft in a flying display outside of their country.
Great update the Falcon 20 and C-130 flying is a bit special

Re: Sanicole 2019 - 13th and 15th September
Mate and I did the whole weekend in 2017. Stopped in Paal, just off the motorway, which left a 20 minute drive to Sanicole on the Friday night and Sunday morning and a 30 minute drive to KB for the photocall.
Don't worry too much about show opening times as there is a huge amount of parking and it's well organised.
Have a look on Google earth/Bing to get a clear understanding of the whole site. It's based on a training area with the runway and showground on the south ofthe road and parking on the north.
Give Antwerp time to get round as we were stuck in a big jam on the Friday afternoon.

As it will be my 5th show of the year, I am being a bit crazy and planning on travelling there and back from Essex in one day to save some £££ to keep the other half happy .
Was really just wondering how crazily early i need to get the eurotunnel to get there in time.

2017. We got tickets for all 3 related events (Friday night show, Saturday @KB, Sunday show) from the website for a single price- suggestion is to print off 3 copies, 1 for each day. Check out Chrisse on UKAR (Overseas airshows) as he is one of the organisers and is always happy to answer questions.
