Axalp 2015?

Hi all,

I'm looking in to making the trip to Switzerland for Axalp next year but I can't seem to find any information online.

Does this event still take place? Or are my google skills lacking?

Any info would be appreciated.

All the site shows is it will be October 2015. It may well be too early yet for full details.

The event is still taking place but just not this year since the Swiss Airforce Anniversary event at Payerne is taking its place. I think its just too early for the website to be up and running but I'd expect some updates post AIR 14 later this year.

Rumour I have heard is that the exercise will still take place but will not be open to the public due to amount of people who went in 2012, and the issues they had getting people down from the mountain.
