I carried out an online payment on 17th March through Halifax. I haven't had any notification from the French and can't see any payment taken from my account. Thing is they don't reply to emails. Guess I'll have to go into branch.

Not having been to a Tiger Meet before can I take it that having received bank details for payment, which have been sent, and a car park pass that I am OK to attend. Should I be expecting any tickets or similar.

I'd stick my neck uot and say yes. The organisers did say back in Feb they would make contact again before the event just to confirm attendance.

I paid for my ticket by the advertised bank transfer over a month ago , and to date have not heard anything back from the NTM team with any kind of communication
Just wondering how many more are in the same boat
I would like some from of communication , just so that I can book the flights and car otherwise if left until the last minute flights are going to be hard to arrange.

They clearly are aware of who has paid...& who has not! I recently received an email reminding me to pay, if I hadn't done so in the interim. So providing you clearly indicated that your payment was for all parties noted & attached to the transfer, then I don't see any problem? You give your name & ID at the Gate... They check their alphabetic List, it says 'Paid' against it....in you go! Reminder:-NO PAYMENTS are accepted at the gate. Pre-pay or Go Home!

That's not bad at all then!

We stayed away from hotels and have a nice country retreat just north of MDM. Flights were cheap as chips and to think we were going to drive!

The prospective organisation of the Spotters Day at Mont-de-Marsan is a complete farce. In February, I transferred 30 euros by bank transfer and requested the bank clerk make the payment as I was unfamiliar with the process (which also added a transfer charge). Two weeks ago I received an e-mail to say that no payment had been received. I checked my bank statement and it confirmed the payment had been sent with the correct bank address etc. Now yesterday I received an e-mail to say that the Spotters Day was full and I would not be able to attend. As far I am concerned, luckily I had not booked any flights or hostels. I am far from happy about the poor organisation but glad that I had not spent money on the flights and hostels. Why in heaven's name, one cannot pay on the day at the airfield entrance after obtaining security clearance earlier in the process I do not know. It is France I suppose - "pee up in a brewery springs to mind".

Did you put SPOTTER surname given name in the Transfer details?

I Guess as it's an exercise and not an airshow they don't have volunteers to collect and account for cash at a gate. At least they make the effort to allow members of the public to apply rather than invitation only (to accredited 'journalists')

Sorry Mike but your talking as a person who has his tickets there are some me included that have done everything right yet will not be going due to the( NTM team) making mistake,s
Right now I would be happy just to get my money back but I doubt that will happen either .
As Above Pee up in a brewery springs to mind.
