I stopped by to see the former BATUS Gazelle in its brown / green / dayglo glory.
1200-1410
XZ334 Gazelle AH1 wheeled out onto ramp
ZB671 Gazelle AH1 on ramp in BATUS colour scheme. Very nice!
ZB691 Gazelle AH1 on ramp. Later seen on ADS-B heading to Hereford as "AAC755" at 1430.
and, incredibly, a visitor!
ZM523 Juno HT1 "SYS76" arrived from Shawbury around 1320, gone by 1410.
Cheers,
DC
p.s. "Wallop Wings and Wheels" is being advertised for July 3rd, featured 40 "classic aircraft" amongst other things.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Good log.
I was tempted to risk it yesterday for the BATUS cab and didn't, needless to say I regret that!

ZB671 had a hard landing and is currently undergoing stress checks. May be a week or so before it’s rolled out again.
