Here are a few from today. Olicat joined me for a few legs of this flight. Took off at Valley, did the 'Loop', then flew up the Church Fenton, and down to Coningsby.

This is from a earlier session with 'harriersurfer', some low level in Tutors, around the Mach Loop.

Good shots indeed, but in the SeaKing shot with the boat, you see the solid shadow of the rotor disc, does FSX give a solid shadow for all heli rotors in the sim?? Ive never seen that before . .

Haven't noticed it with all the helos but that Seaking is the old Alphasim one which was native to FS9 and modded for FSX. For that reason, the clouds show through the rotors like you get with most port overs to FSX.

Is that the newest Virtavia release of the Sea King?

It's the Alphasim FSX Seaking, before Virtavia took them over.
Looks exactly the same (it is the same albeit a different sound pack and updated).
Although i have my own soundpack anyway, i do a lot of my own modifying (Like adding the whip wip sound to the Merlin like in real life).

Here are a few more I got after downloading a new plane for my hangar!

After circuit-bashing Yeovilton for about 30 mins, I flew across to Boscombe and formed up with a Eurofighter Typhoon taking off, I flew with this aircraft for about 15 minutes, before breaking to land at Marham.

After arriving at Marham I taxied across the aerodrome to the 'Goldstars' area.

Who says Tutors are boring...
Myself and Olicat had a flight last night from Yeovilton to Portland to Bournemouth for a pairs landing and then to Boscombe for a touch and go on the taxiway runway via Compton Abbas and then off to the Wye Valley, one of our usual haunts

Image

Image

Proof of frame rate due to the texture replacement, normally this would be around 8fps with all the scenery on and sliders right up. Now it is 24fps with sliders right up.
Olicat can provide the proof as i had to stop before sometimes due to frame rate problems.

Over Compton Abbass

And into the Wye Valley

I then lost my screen, everything went black and Olicat said i spiralled into the cliff and died.
His words were "That did not look good".

Not mine, it's the farmers lol!

The scenery in the previous post before these shots highlights how good Horizon VFR Gen X ver2 is regarding quality.
