Complete novice / newbie in respect of FS, sorry for the questions...
1. I assume MSFS on an Xbox X would be a good option if I do not want to use a computer?
2. Can any kind of aircraft be flown pretty much straight away (even if I have to pay extra for an add on?)
3. I want to see if it's possible to navigate around Mach Loop. Is this even possible using MSFS?
Ta
Steve
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
Newbie FS question
Re: Newbie FS question
Hi Steve,
Unfortunately not sure about your first question, but in my experience you can pretty much fly any aircraft straight away (some may be a little harder than others initially - just a case of reading the manual & practicing - all good fun). With regards to navigating the Mach Loop I do this regularly albeit I have P3D installed and not MSFS. There are also some great low level routes in the Scottish Glens and the Lake District. Hope this helps a little.
Happy flying! B

Re: Newbie FS question
The latest MSF does give you a tutorial on how to fly. Think it’s a Cessna that you use. I did fly an A-10 on free flight from Lakenheath but using a standard controller it was a bit tricky.
Yes you can do the Loop and the Lakes I paid no extra and you do get a few free aircraft.

Re: Newbie FS question
If you're going to use MSFS 24 on Xbox then I'd recommend purchasing the Flight one HOTAS. It works with Xbox and is a very sturdy unit on the cheaper side of the range. You can fly anywhere on the sim and you can purchase aircraft through marketplace on the sim. I'd also recommend staying away from MSscnery aircraft. Very cheap, but honestly awful. Diemos are the next level up and offer fairly good flight models, and a better, more accurate visual appearance. I'm not sure of the full list of aircraft available on xbox, but there are some good military airframes.
