Miscellaneous Newark Air Museum News 2013
I thought I’d create a new miscellaneous Newark Air Museum Thread to use for short updates and news snippets from eastern Nottinghamshire.
In April the museum will be celebrating 40 years of being officially open to the public. In the run up to this big event (full details to follow later in January) weekly photo albums will be added to the Gallery Page here on the museum website!
The first album is of various museum aircraft taken prior to the official opening.
As the year progresses details of the other museum events will be updated in here!
This will include such things as the Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble on 2 March 2013; Tribute to the Lightning event on 18 &19 May 2013; and Cockpit-Fest 2013 & Aeroboot on 15 & 16 June 2013; etc.
Many thanks to those people who have visited the museum in 2012 and we hope to see you again this year and a Happy New Year to you all
Whilst the museum is closed today (1 January) we’re back open at 10am tomorrow, Wednesday 2 January 2013!
