Well we are almost there and I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone again at the first Aeroboot Sale of the season.

What a great idea by the museum to hold the Aeroboot alongside the main event of the day... the Falkland 40th / Cold War Call Up.

Well... an absolutely superb opening event today at NAM in splendid weather... the weather God's were certainly on our side.

Great atmosphere in and around the main event and a very enjoyable day on the stall at the Aeroboot.

Got a little sunburnt by the end of the day.

My thanks to all who stopped by my stall... its very much appreciated.

This Buccaneer cockpit is in fact an engineering rig, just called "XN979" by Carolyn and her son Marcus, who are restoring it.

Marcus is doing a superb restore job, especially when you consider his age as a youngster.

He certainly is - I had a long chat with him last August and his knowledge of the project is brilliant.

His negotiating skills whilst going round the Aeroboot with his little hand pulled cart are also something top behold!

A revised event programme for the second half of 2022 has just been announced, this is after reluctantly deciding to cancel the late August event, due to lack of participants.

Also we now have no plans for an Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble in the autumn, however an outdoor sale will run alongside a Shackleton WR977, 65th Anniversary event on 10 September!
