A week today and our first Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble of the 2018 season will be in full swing - hopefully lots of bargains will be snapped up by lots of buyers!

The difficult decision has now been taken to cancel this Saturday’s (03.03.18) Indoor Aeroboot/Aerojumble sale at Newark.

A re-arranged event will now be held on Saturday 14th April 2018; further details can be found in here!

Details of some ex-Vulcan avionics that are being offered for sale on the museum stall at the Indoor Aeroboot Sale on Saturday 14th April have been added to our website!

Proceeds from this disposal will go towards the ongoing restoration / repaint of Vulcan XM594.

There is now under a week to go until our rearranged Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble on Saturday 14th April.

A couple of previous sellers have decided that they might look at selling outside, but in the last 48 hours another indoor opportunity has become available.

To cope with the number of invited guest at today’s RAF Balderton Commemoration & Book Launch we hired in a small marquee that has been added on to the end of the Dambusters Hut. This marquee is being retained for most of April and will therefore be available during next Saturday’s Aeroboot Sale.

The current plan is to have the bacon butty stall in the far end of the marquee (near to the display boards in the photo); however looking at the visitor flows today we reckon we can accommodate 5 additional Aeroboot tables in the marquee.

Is there anyone who might be interested in booking any of these tables, albeit they are approximately 100m away from the other tables, but any open air sellers would be located on the route between the two locations?

If anyone is interested they can PM me their details; as with all of our Aeroboot sales the spaces must be pre-booked; as spaces are no longer allocated on the day.

Another sellers list update just added to museum website for the Indoor Aeroboot #Aerojumble on Sat 14 April; this new listing might be of particular interest to any plastic kit aircraft modellers out there!

We are pleased to report that 2 of the recently added extra Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble tables in the Dambusters Hut marquee have now been booked by a seller from Belgium!

Face to face international aviation trading on Saturday 14th April.

Not long at all - the tables were set-out today & final site assessments completed; still a bit damp underfoot but manageable!

Cup cakes not due out of the oven until tomorrow - 'edible decals' c/w logo ready!!

Just wanted to thank you and all the Team at NAM for an amazing opening event to the 2018 Aeroboot Season...all the Teams hard work made for a brilliant event

We had a fantastic day... love those bacon buttys... just the right start to the day and the Museum Birthday Cup Cakes were a very nice touch.

It was great to see Jagmadandy again today... thank you for visiting my stall and for your custom... hope the patch looks good.

Nice to meet reaper 493, hope you had a good day.

Finally my thanks and apprecation to all my regular customers... stall holders and the public that came by the stall today.

Looking forward to the Cockpit Fest event and the new facilities are looking great in the new location.

I have filled in the request form handed out yesterday for a booking form for the Aeroboot Sale at Cockpit Fest and that is in the post back to the Museum now.

Thank you for that T1 - we're hoping that the improvement in the weather (except it's raining here at the moment) will help us get the new café & toilets finished so that the layout for Cockpit-Fest & the accompanying Aeroboot can be finalised!

We have just emailed out the booking forms for the Summer Aeroboot that runs alongside Cockpit-Fest; the email contains some important GDPR information for sellers and we urge them to respond as requested to remain on our mailing list.

An update will be added to the museum website once the initial response has been assessed.

A provisional site layout is now in place for Cockpit-Fest on 23 & 24 June 2018; worth noting that the space for the associated Aeroboot /Aerojumble will be limited to 46 pitches!

The museum is currently waiting for the initial response from previous sellers before releasing space bookings for new sellers to the event.
