A quick bump to remind everyone that we're back open again tomorrow on a full time basis (7 days per week inc. Bank Holidays) and with the two main display hangars open again as well!

Some of you might have heard of a young aviation enthusiast called Jack Berry who has been fund raising for some service related charities, we have just added some details to our website about his forthcoming visit to the museum on Monday 31st May, 2021.

So, it's as you were for visiting the museum for the next 4 weeks:
We're open 7 days/week & No need to pre-book;
10am-5pm (last admission 4pm);

Some minor tweaks may be required for the Aeroboot/Aerojumble - this was in part anticipated, but we will just need to have a final sight of the full legislation!

You won't miss it when you head along the old taxiway towards the Aeroboot location - it's located just past the Meteor T7.

We're starting to digest the Step 4 Covid announcements from yesterday & while we wait for the final Official Guidelines we're seeking some feedback on our Twitter timeline about the emotive topic of masks; please feel free to vote on that poll!

After consultation with our staff, museum members & some members of the public the museum trustees have decided to still encourage social distancing & other Covid-19 mitigation measures. These measures are outlined here http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/Visiting_In_Summer_2021

They are in line with requests from the government & good practice guidelines issued by various Visitor Attraction bodies.

The museum is now into half-term mode and given the weather forecast we expect that the undercover offer will be popular.

It’s also good to be able to advise that we are once again able to host our Remembrance Sunday Service this year!
