I thought it would be appropriate to record the passing of the lynx which was a frequent visitor to Spadeadam and Otterburn at least we still get the wildcats. Is there a TAC Blaze in 2018?

God I hope so. It's been ages since we had some decent activity at Carlisle. That said, there seem to be a lot of Notams concerning Carlisle with runways closed etc. Is there something going on there? Hope it isn't the case the place is closing down.

Thanks Trevor, I was beginning to think the place was being run down for closure. Nice to see they are getting passenger flights going from there, we may get some nice traffic once everything is up and running.

Weather looking very poor for the southwest on Tuesday. Gale force winds and snow showers.

Unfortunately there will probably be a large fence going up around Carlisle airport so that may ruin the easy photo opportunities in the future. I hate trying to shoot through fence's.
