Spadeadam activity wc 12 July?

I may have an opportunity to visit Spadeadam next week. As I live close to London, this is a rare opportunity.

Does anyone know if there is any activity scheduled for next week that would give me a pointer to a good day to visit? I saw a reference to a chaff and jamming exercise at Brunton SPACES but, in my ignorance of the area, (and exactly what Brunton SPACES is/are), I'm unsure whether this will involve movements at Spade.

I do know that activity at the ranges I do manage to get to once or twice a year (eg Holbeach), is very sporadic and you mostly take pot luck. No doubt it's the same at Spade but if anyone can give me any pointers, it would be appreciated.

Sorry of this is too late for you Herts but the MoD website refers to the CQWI 10 exercise ongoing to the 15th of July - elements of which take place at Spadeadam.

A friend works at Spadeadam but has been unable to confirm flying dates and times as they're off work at the moment!

I have been up three or four times over the last couple of years and have only seen two aircraft! But I think this week is a good week to try. I am heading up there tomorrow for a few hours.

Unfortuneately, I wasn't able to fit in the trip to Spadeadam after all, so I will have to leave it until the next time, whenever that may be.
