Haven't heard anything yet that may concur with this NOTAM.

Thought it might be F35s, as Coningsby noted on days.

Interesting that I didn’t note anything when looking at ADSB. Perhaps the stealth element kicked in? A dunno.

Thanks Yammer. If that is the case, it would account for a lot of occasions when standing, fat, dumb & happy looking at an electronic do-dah, only for a fast jet to whoosh over, frightening the bee-jes.. out of me.
Time to resurrect the Royal Observer Corps ;)

You may find a radio adds to the hobby - combined with an "electronic do-dah" and you'll be in the picture so to speak

I live no more than 6 miles as the crow goes from MAM24, and always enjoyed hearing Tornardos departure.

Similarly, F35B (unlit more noisy than a burning F15), is a delight.

Holbeach is no further away, in the other direction, and if I can't hear anything from the side of my head then fast jets are not active. Don't need to turn on my scanners to find nothing.

:) :D

You offer sound advice Yammer. I shall scan both the ether AND the sky in the hope that I shall improve my image. ;)
