Donna Nook Range - will it stay open?

Post by Zeb » Tue Jun 20, 2017 12:37 pm

Seems less and less activity, makes me wonder if the place will close. Anybody heard anything definite?

I know what you mean Zeb.
I take my dogs down there quite regularly with my camera on my back but apart from the odd hawk or flare dropping exercise it is pretty grim compered to the good old days of F-111, A10, Harrier, Jaguar and Tornadoes.
I have seen f-15's and Typhoons occasionally but few and far in between
Holbeach seems to get a lot more busy nowadays. it would be interesting to know if there are any plans to keep Donna Nook open.
