There has been an active range since WW2. The seals seem to have managed without too much trouble.

They shut the wrong range when deciding between here and Wainfleet

DN was always going to be a nature reserve where Wainfleet was a stand alone weapons range

Wasn’t there traffic confliction when both Wainfleet and Holbeach were open at the same time ? Didn’t they alternate mornings and afternoons or something similar?
