A few pics from yesterday afternoon when my home town of Stowmarket granted the AAC and RAF at neighbouring Wattisham the honourary freedom of the town. With Stowmarket being the nearest major town to Wattisham, such recognition has been long overdue and despite next to no publicity, the route was lined several deep by 4pm. A flypast by two AH's closed the ceremony.

The AH flypast was rather high (limited to a 1,000 ft) so it's not a brilliant shot, but at least I - accidently - got the town crest in!

A bit dark, but a Apache on the Wattisham fence, about a hour before the parade.
