Yorkshire Wildlife Park - and a wild visitor

Visited the YWP on Saturday and caught up on the Cheetah cubs (see later) who are growing up fast. There is a small lake at the front of their enclosure which is fenced off to keep the Cheetahs out and I was very pleasantly surprised to see this Kingfisher perched on a bullrush. Even with the 150-600 lens at full stretch it was still a bit of a crop, but pleased overall how they came out.

Back to the residents, the Cheetah cubs are losing their 'cute' factor but are still quite playful.

Rather than leaving it to the garden recycling bins, the Polar Bears get to recycle some Christmas trees, not a service available to many of us !!!

And finally a rather gormless looking Spotted Hyena

Thanks for looking, comments and criticism welcome
