Thanks for all the kind words everyone,glad to hear so many people enjoying the selection of images in Part 1 I`m not sure Part 2 will stand up to it!
Anyway here we go with another selection.
***WARNING*** The last 4 images from #19 may not be for those who don`t like upsetting wildlife scenes,but I wouldn`t be giving a true representation of the trip if I kept them hidden.

1/LIons cubs of the Rongai Pride mobbing their uncle,1 of the Black Rock Boys as he makes his way to a Water Buffalo Kill the pride had made a short time earlier


2/Little Bee Eater playing with its lunch


3/Jakal Pups chilling on top of the den on a gorgeous morning


4/Leopardess Faulu gives us a stunning head on opportunity as she makes her way to some bushes to get out the sun

11/Tiring afternoon for this Male Lion of the Sand River Pride,clearly meeting his new cub has taken it out of him!

16/Leopardess Kazuri about to come down from her tree to go collect her cub

18/Vereux Eagle Owl shot at the lodge in Amboseli using my torch to light the subject up


****WARNING GRAPHIC/UPSETTING****
19/Wildebeast Caught by a Crocodile while making the crossing of the Mara River.....This had a happy ending when after 15 mins the Wildebeast somehow freed itself to make the crossing...however I imagine it would probably be a victim of a big cat soon after


20/Another action scene again with a happy ending as the Croc seemed to abandon its attempt quite quickly when realising this Zebra seemed fairly strong


21/And sadly this young Wildebeast didn`t manage to make a miracle escape,a broken leg sealed its fate as the croc dragged it to deeper water out of sight from our position


22/****Warning not for those who don`t like their nature images RAW**** Cheetah putting the choke hold on an abandoned Topi Calf

Wow. You were much luckier with your Kenya parks than I was with South African ones. Fabulous photos from fabulous Africa. I would go back in a heartbeat, but at 81 now my long distance travel is over, but what memories. Many thanks.

Thank you,you probably know the feeling when you are boarding the flight to go and the imagination of what you hope to see runs away with you and telling yourself just be grateful for a couple of nice encounters.....I was so fortunate that every day we were Kenya our expectations were blown away...Amazing Country,Parks,Wildlife and People!

Stunning photography, some of these wouldn’t be out of place on the cover of National Geographic. Was this a specific photographic trip as you seem to be in the right place quite often and closer to the action than what I’ve seen from other Safari trips?

Woah, these are absolutely and well photographed! The lioness against the early sunrise is a standout favourite, but all are stunners!

Both sets of images are just incredible, Absolutely amazing .

Thank you for the kind words,and yes it was a trip organised by my mate and I,who got in touch with a guide he had met on previous trips and told him what we wanted and could he give us an itinerary,he came back with a plan with him guiding us for the 2 weeks where is own knowledge of animal behaviour aswell
as knowing where to put you for the best photo opportunities shone through,there were times we wondered what the hell he was doing and questioning his thinking only for it to come good with unexpected results pretty much everytime!

Birds are my subject,love the beeater,reminds me of my trip to Gambia many years ago.
Also seen then was a black mamba,no far away from a croc,in the days when Monach B757 flew down there.

Ah Gambia!. My first of 5 trips to Africa. Fell in love with it. So, So different to any where else!.. Beats lying on a beach any day.
