Hi Pete

We caught The Great Britain XV on day 8 at Welney and again, very close up and thundering past on day 9 at Ten Mile Bank. Wonderful!

Is there a good forum that you can recommend to discover other occurrences of these marvellous machines?

Thanks in advance

Don't know of a forum but I use Railway Herald for heads up on movements. https://www.railwayherald.com/railtours. Once the timings are listed in yellow for the excursion clicking on them takes you to https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/ . You can use the search box on there if something is listed but not showing times, clicking the yellow links will take you straight to the relevant page. No need to start searching.. Also you'll see on Railway Herald which company is running the trip just google the company and you'll get to their site which will have lists of the tours they run.
