A lesson in identification; good pictures of the Little Egret. In the Morecambe Bay area I've seen both Egret species and on one occasion near Grange saw both a Great White and Grey Heron trawling the same pond. Close examination of the Egrets is the colour reversal of bills and feet:- yellow bills and black feet for the Greats, vice-versa for the Littles.
