Hi Everyone,

Back in the UK on a full time basis after leaving KSA after 6 years. Here's a set of pictures taken the other night using my new purchase the DJI Mini 2. Only had the time to fly it once so far but I am more than impressed with the results.

Easiest thing to fly, just stick to what weather conditions it says in the manual...... :D

Hi,

Very nice. I'm in a similar situation, having just bought a Mini 2 myself a couple of weeks ago. I've spent a couple of weeks carefully trying it out from close and safe locations and it has worked out fine. Yesterday morning at dawn I was over the river Orwell in Suffolk at the legal max of 400 feet without any worries. The Mini 2 is simply a superb piece of kit and has so many fail safes built in that unless it has a major malfunction or you fly it extremely irresponsibly it is difficult to lose. At any point you can hit the return to home option and it will return and land to within a few feet of the launch point. It also judges the distance it has flown and will return home on it's own accord if you push the battery to it's limits.

Anybody considering getting one but is nervous I would say go for it. I should have a long time ago. There is a mass of tutorials and instruction videos on YouTube that make it easy. As long as you do the UK licensing and registration requirements there really is nothing to it.
