Black Kites Over Taif

Post by WorldInFocus » Fri Mar 12, 2021 5:57 pm

Hi Everyone,

Had a little wander out on the waste ground next to our compound after I spotted some Black Kites on the lamp posts nearby. Here are a selection of the pictures I took this morning.

Simply stunning - as ever you deliver us quality every time, not just in subject but image too. The 150-600 Contemporary is really giving good service. I have one on a 6D Mark I and still getting used to it.

Thanks Nighthawke,

I've had the 150-600 for a good few years and it's my go to lens along wth the 7D MkII. Hope you get some good resuts with yours.

Lovely pictures of a beautiful bird. I love the fact that they are sitting on lights and around an industrial landscape. For most you would expect to see a gull, or crow or pigeon in those places, so to see the kites makes it even better!
