Lakenheath Fen 19-20th Sept

Headed down to Lakenheath to catch some fast jet action while I had some time off from work and decided to head down a couple of days earlier than normal to spend the weekend there, the plan being to spend time at Lakenheath Fen and Lackford Lakes.
After being advised the best hides at Lackford were still closed I decided to just spend my time wandering around the RSPB Reserve Lakenheath Fen seeing what I could find.
A little to windy really for the Bearded manboobs! but still managed some shots, and unfortunately the only 2 times I saw Bittern was flying low across the top of the reeds when I was in a bad position to try and photograph it!
Anyway here is a selection of the other birds and beasties i found.
1/Male Bearded Tit

2/Male Bearded Tit

3/Female Bearded Tit

4/Ladybird waking up to a frost covered nettle leaf while its back is covered in melting water droplets

5/Stretching Snail

6/Ruddy Darter?

7/Common Darter?

8/Orb Spider

9/Orb Spider

10/Migrant Hawker

11/Migrant Hawker

12/Mute Swan

13/Mute Swan

14/Willow Emerald Damselfly

15/Willow Emerald Damselfly

16/1 last snail
