The perfect place to chill following 6 months of mayhem
The past 6 months have without question, had a huge mental strain and drain on my/our and I am sure a lot of peoples ability to make sense of all the continuous changes that have taken place in all aspects of life, so It was with great favour that we took a well-deserved timeout to visit our favourite part of the UK, the West Coat and Inner Hebrides of Scotland, hope you enjoy a snap shot of the beauty that we find every time we visit.

You have really captured the beauty of Scotland. My wife and I are spending a fortnight there soon as it is also our favourite place to holiday. Glad you took the time to unwind and take a break.

I can't do camping and tents anymore but my wife and I would visit Eilean Donan Castle (and Edinburgh for that matter) in a heartbeat.

Wonderful images.
We try to do the west coast, north of Loch Lomond to just beyond the Kyle every other year.
I don't think there is much to match the photographic potential for landscapes elsewhere within the UK.
Slightly inbound to Rannoch is stunning too.

Lovely shots Alex, wish I'd done more of this when I was at Lossie.

Hope you're keeping well Alex, I'm hoping for a trip up north next summer.

Wonderful images, we’re currently on our annual Skye trip, behaving safely and sensibly. Much more important this year than any before, for mine and especially my partners mental health, it’s her first time away from the NHS front line in 12 months!

I like the peaceful scene of the Cal Mac leaving Uig, last time I was there it was blowing a gale !
