Mainly Sunbirds

Post by WorldInFocus » Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:10 pm

Hi All,

As COVID-19 is affecting the rest of the world, it's effect has been felt here in KSA. There has been a 24hr curfew although we are allowed to work as our work is classed as essential. This has serverely restricted any chance of going out and photographing the local wildlife. So I decided to take my camera out and see what I could find within the four walls of our compound. It was fairly warm so there wasn't much out in the sun. Although I was lucky to see a pair of Nile Valley Sunbirds displaying to each other, they had other things on their minds so I was able to get much closer than normal to these very timid little birds.

Very nice Ian - much better than blackbirds, robins and woodpigeons that I get!
