Nene Park, Peterborough - RC Boats and Wildlife

A set of shots from a visit yesterday to Nene Park in Peterborough. There was an RC power boat competition going on at Orton Mere when I arrived so I took the opportunity to grab a few shots. Then it was on to Ferry Meadows to shoot some birds which included a pair of Coots having a good scrap on the lake.

That coot fight is fantastic, excellent shots, especially the feet on each other one, real wildlife action photography

Thanks Peter. I've not witnessed Coots fighting before and was really surprised at how vicious they are!

Thanks. I have a Canon 700d with a Sigma 150-500mm on the end of it.
