this was an amazing scene this ship was about to leave the dock and the ships speakers started playing Bruce Springsteens 'Born in the USA' which could be heard miles away waking up all and sundry

Hi Chris I've been tracking the naval assets on the various nets, but your photographs really bring to life what JW is all about. I will be chasing Wildcats at Carlisle today. Did you get to Luce Bay, and are you travelling even further north. monitoring on http://www.marinetraffic.com Shows 4 naval assets off Cape Wrath.

did not manage to get to Luce bay but still might head north next week - not decided where but I have to visit Scotland again so I am playing it by ear

I have also been wanting to go up there for years for the ships and finally got up for them this time round and spent a really enjoyable weekend
