Gannets (Troup Head)

Post by adamc8rd » Tue May 13, 2014 8:27 pm

Spent just under the 5 Hour mark driving (round trip) and roughly 40 minutes actually taking the photos. Another trip here is being planned already.

Only there for 40 mins?
When were you up,I drove up yesterday and got there about 4pm with the weather man suggesting a lovely sunny evening! That`ll teach me to listen to those idiots.
Its a cracking location and you got some crackers, but yeah the 7 hour round trip for me is the killer, still managed a couple of hours last night before the rain got heavy :P

Hi Ross I got there at around 10:20 and left at around 11:00 with the sun splitting the sky :P. However after leaving and trying to find a certain turquoise coloured bird I got caught in several thunderstorms around the edzell area and decided to call it a day around 14:30.

A magnificent but ugly looking bird at the same time. Fantastic shots though.
