Sir Nigel Gresley

A pristine Sir Nigel Gresley leaving Chester in glorious early morning June sunshine bound for Carlisle.
As the loco was sidelit I have had to tweak the contrast and shadows quite harshly to achieve the details in the running gear.

I'm afraid it was a day trip only.
She returned to Crewe (via Chester) later the same day.
If you have a look at Railway Herald: Railtours she is scheduled to head a return trip from
Blackpool to Carlisle on Tuesday 02nd July, (no timings yet).
Good luck.
