So here it is,the final quarter! Sadly life got in the way for a large part of the last 3 months with my mother having a mini stroke among other things which as you can imagine meant less time spent out enjoying my time with the animals,but sometimes other things are
definitely more important!
However I am very fortunate that I can still get some great wildlife 10-15 mins from home and when my luck is in I can capture some great things in my shortened stints away from mum,so although not as much variety as throughout the rest of the year its still been a very rewarding time with the camera.

8/Some wee Reds from Vane Farm at Loch Leven was a rare trip away from Edinburgh

10/And Dippers as ever tough to catch still long enough when using really slow shutter speeds for the water motion

13/November a lot less time out for the reasons above but still had a fantastic highlight at the end of the month....First up some Foxes down by the river

16/Then the Otters took over the role of main focus of my attention pretty much for the rest of the year,this being "Mary" don`t ask why but given the name by one of my friends at the park who had the name come to them in a dream

18/Even finally posing on a log she usually bypasses when I`m waiting for her to climb up on

19/And then what has become the highlight of this quarter,female known as Scarface appeared with her 2 new cubs!

21/December has seen me out very few times but I have been a heck of a lucky the days I have managed out! Kingfishers up first
