Just some trains...

Landscapes, Portraits, Sports, anything really as long as it is within the guidelines and not offensive. Please do not post images of civilian aircraft here. We would be grateful for those on our sister site - Civilian Aviation.

Just some trains...

Post by Fibrous Freddie » Tue May 16, 2023 6:46 pm

... title says it all.

Taken a while ago with an Instamatic camera whilst living in the luxury of... 't' shoebox in t' middle o' road'!
Yah, you try an tell the young people of today that, and they won't believe you...

All looks a bit different now.

Makes a change from aeroplane images.
Ho hum!

Couldn't find the board section for 'shabby, tired, old images'... Seeing these following MarkRanger's Belfast and Battersea is a bit of a contrast.

Being old has the benefits of accruing some great memories... if only I could remember them!

Best wishes

Toodle pip

All for now... there may be more...

Freddie, thanks for following up my request from your weekend post. As elsewhere, content over quality where these kind of photos are concerned. Love the older diesels as well as the Python reference.

I've just noticed a type 40 moved from the East Lancs Rly last night to WCRC at Carnforth, not sure why unless it's going to be used on a Northern Belle trip tomorrow- Crewe to Edinburgh.
