Hi All,
Quite an interesting 2 days. Yesterday a friend of mine found a young Kestrel near his villa and brought it to me. I checked it over and put it as close to the nest as possible and it looked as though it managed to get back to the nest.
This morning I was alerted that another Kestrel had been found in a pool drain, luckily the guys fished it out and called me. This was a different bird as the first bird had a shortened talon on one foot and this had all talons intact.
Here are a few pictures I took of the birds. The first three are the bird found yesterday and the rest are the one found today.
