Wonder if the VH-60 will be loaded back onto C-17 at Northolt or perhaps elsewhere ( Mildenhall?) given the extra load and fuel uplift although of course the C-17 has prodigious performance?

Good question.At the moment Northolt is planned I believe.C17,s are coming from Ramstein but this could all change.Soon know if they are still at Northolt later.

They will as that's where the ground crew are staying till tomorrow when the 2 c17's arrive to collect.
No point in going to the Hall and they haven't navex'd that route either

Not bothered about Mildenhall as I have seen them but I was thinking the runway at Northolt would be short for a full load back to Quantico?

Helos all back into Northolt...Cheers to th VH-60s,who came in straight over the house!..,re C-17s thought that last time they picked up the VH-60s,and thier ground equipment,it was then flown out via a gas and go at Mildenhall?

Agree with you regarding the runway. Mildenhall or Fairford for gas 'n go maybe? Remember in 2014 the VH-60 was picked up by a C-17 at St Athan which then flew to Fairford for a gas 'n go.
