Hi guys,

My DX-394 HF receiver has been sitting on my shack table for some time, unused and gathering a little dust. It has been well used but works very well. I bought it from eBay some 5/6 years ago. I have undertaken the antichuffing mod which eradicates the annoying noise when browsing through frequencies. More details on other mods including the one I did can be found at http://www.monitor.co.uk/radio-mods/dx-394/dx-394.htm.

Sorry no other accessories included which will reflect the price of £40 (not including P&P). PayPal accepted or cheque.

I may well be looking to sell some other kit in due course as a shack clear out such as the Icom R20...watch this space...

This modification eliminates the muting you get on each tuning step. It keeps the audio on the entire time instead of blanking out with silence giving you that chuff-chuff sound. It gives the tuning controls more of an analogue feel and greatly enhances the enjoyment and usability of the DX-394.
