It is no big deal but I am now living on borrowed time.
I am virtually housebound so my photo. days are over.
To help me keep active , along side working on my very extensive slide/digital library, I am starting a project with B&W .
I am asking for donations of any redundant B &W Aircraft negs., older the better! you may no longer have use for.
I have a set up of photographing them with a quality DSR using a copy stand and light pad, to very good effect.
I am happy to pay postage etc and return any Negs if asked for.
With thanks for any response to my request.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

I've got a few dating back to the 1970s which I've already scanned into my computer. I'll see if I can dig them out for you. Would you want aircraft related ones - airfield fire tenders?

Hi Ian. I would welcome any and all B&W negs you may offer.
You can email on terry.burke@live.co.uk. if this is the correct way to organise contact details.
With many thanks for your quick reply.

If you are planning to scan them in I could just email you the images which you could save directly to your computer. save you a bit of time and effort - and be quicker as I know where they are on my computer as opposed to going through a box of a mountain of negs! But you're welcome to the negs.

Hi Ian.
I would prefer the actual negs.
I photograph them on a light pad with a quality Digital Nikon.
Then work on them in Photoshop, this to me is where I find it helps me in the challenge to produce a good result.
If your happy to let me have all you have scanned it would be most appreciated, more the merrier.
As I noted, I am more than pleased to reimburse any postage costs.
Hope this works for you.
