The 2014 tour schedule
We hereby detail our current plans for 2014. The schedule is rather extensive already, but still we do not want to call it final. We will always keep an eye open for extra opportunities.
- January - Bahrain
We kick of the season with Bahrain. In January the Bahrain Air Show will be organised here. This is the best opportunity to see Royal Bahraini Air Force aircraft. We are currently talking to the air force to find out if we can add some options apart from the air show. Follow our website;

- February - Iceland
For February the Iceland Fighter Meet is scheduled. It is expected that Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish fighters will gather at Keflavik for an exercise. Interesting aircraft in an interesting environment. It is expected that there will be details about the exercise and potential opportunities by the end of November. Follow our website;

- March - Chile
In March we will head for Chile for the third time. The FIDAE is the reason to go to this South American country. We hope to encounter a fair number of air force, army and navy aircraft. Follow our website;

- April - Japan
This has by now become our traditional Japan-tour. In two weeks in Japan we will capture a large number of aircraft of the several types of the air force, army and navy of this spotter’s paradise. Follow our website;

- April – Morocco
We have visited the Marrakech Air Show twice before. Based on our last visit the expectations for 2014 are high. In 2012 the Moroccan Air Force managed to impress all with the number of aircraft they flew during the show. Follow our website;

- May – Israel
We have visited Israel during their Independence Day celebrations before. These celebrations usually offer one of the few opportunities to capture the aircraft (in awesome) colours of this interesting air force. Follow our website;

- May – Kazakhstan
Two years ago we travelled to KADEX in Kazakhstan for the first time. This visit was so surprisingly interesting/good that we have not doubted at all to reschedule a visit to this event. We are welcome to come again in 2014. Follow our website;

- June – Canada
In June we want to go to Canada again. By using inland flights we hope to be able to combine the major air bases in one tour and visit a Maple Flag exercise. Follow our website;

- June – Turkey
We hope that the Turkish Air Force will keep its promise that we are welcome to return to the Anatolian Eagle exercise with a group in 2014. In 2013 we visited the exercise for the first time and were surprised by the hospitality and the awesome photo opportunities. Follow our website;

- July/August – Australia
It is expected that the 2014 edition of the Pitch Black exercise will take place in July/August. This is a very interesting exercise in Australia that also sees participation of a number of Asian air forces. Follow our website;

- August – Slovakia
In August we will travel to the air show at Sliač in Slovakia. This show attracted a large number of interesting participants, besides the large number of Slovak Air Force aircraft. Follow our website;

- September – North Korea
In September we will travel to North Korea for the second time. This is the odd one out in the 4Aviation tour schedule, but a very interesting one. Enjoy the opportunity to fly in a number of unique aircraft types while being in a country that not many people will visit. Follow our website;

- October/November – Japan
In October/November we will go to Japan again. The itinerary of this tour will be partly determined by the air shows that will take place in that period. The Japanese Air Self Defence Force will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2014 and will by then have given a number of aircraft a special colour scheme. Follow our website;

- October/November – Japan
In the same period we will organise another tour to Japan. This tour will focus mainly on visiting the fighter bases of the air force. We want to visit the most important fighter bases and stay two days at each base. Follow our website;
http://www.4aviation.nl/programma2014/japan-3
- November – China
In November we will be heading for the China Air Show at Zhuhai for the second time and combine this with an extensive ‘stop’ in Beijing. The Zhuhai show is a very fine opportunity to see and capture a number of Chinese Air Force aircraft types. Follow our website;

- Still to add – USA, Algeria, etc.
Recently it was announced that the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds will perform at air show in 2014 again. A preliminary air show schedule has been released. As soon as we know what the Thunderbirds are planning to do next year we will most probably add a couple of USA-tours to the 2014 schedule.
If all keeps going according to plan there will be an air show in Algeria in 2014. As soon as we know when this is and if the Algerian Air Force intends to participate we will schedule a tour to this country.
Regards,
Stefan
