Stansted 18-4-12

Post by Tiger 1 » Fri Apr 20, 2012 6:38 pm

Hi everyone

Some help please, I was in the area on Wednesday and had a quick look in here, I had no binns with me so was unable to read off what i saw.

On the pan at the Business Park of the airfield at about 2pm were two Boeing 747s, I believe possibly Gov jets. They were side by side one I think was a Saudi or UAE it had red and green flash on the fin the other was white with a ref flash on the fin and a bump on top of the cockpit any help with the IDs would be much appreciated with my thanks in advance.

Hi Tim,

Your white one with the red flash sounds as though it is probably A9C-HAK the B-747SP of Bahrain Amiri Flight, which was flying as BAH2 on the 19th. The other one was probably either A6-MMM or A6-HRM, both of Dubai Air Wing.

Hope this helps, Steve
