Just discovered this post while doing a google search for the aircraft. Does anyone have any further idea of where it is located? There isn't much info on the internet!

I cannot help with the current location of A-011 - but I do know that AR-107 is safe and well, and being looked after in Hangar 1 here! :halo:

I've found this aerial shot of it from 2009 - seems to have a fence around and not easily viewable from outside :-

Hi,
had a look on bing maps, found it between Greenbank business park and immediately next to a sewage farm.I had to rotate the picture anticlockwise 90deg to show the aircraft though.
Hope this helps,

Hi Dean,
I thought it looked a weird colour too. Glad to help.

Interesting mentality, but there we go :) As NAMUpdater says, they have a perfectly nice Draken for us all to go and look at :)

Hi John,

Do you have any plans for the aircraft? Or any images to share? Totally respect your private property, but just wondering whether you were planning to eventually put it on public display? It'd be a great if people got the chance to see such a rare and well-loved type.

I have informed M of your intentions for world domination. Expect a chap, attractive to the ladies, to visit you soon with fancy watches and a flash car.

I saw it many years ago when it was still in service with the RDAF, they were more than happy to share their aircraft with everyone who wanted to view it :P . By keeping it now under wraps so nobody but yourself can view it is very sad and small minded, spending lots of money on it just so you and you alone can see it is serious waste of time, money and effort . I think from now on I will consider this and all your other aircraft that you claim to own (this cannot be verified because you won't let anybody see them!) as scrapped, they may as well be! :S

By the way, are you one half of Jedward, that would explain the mental attitude!

Cool! What else do you own? So have you got any pictures of your fleet to share? Or any plans to put them on public display?

Not all on the same site, I take it?

Having gotten off to a bad start, it appears the root on the issue is trespassing/damage by a few "enthusiasts" that think it's their God given right to trample over everywhere to see/photograph everything. It is worth pointing out that we're not all like that, 99.9% of us respect private property, and that's how you end up with photos like Stephen's linked above, taken from the air!

I'm afraid to say the chance of you getting the Draken flying in the UK is non-existent, the CAA wouldn't allow it (complex afterburning turbojet, see all the attempts at getting a Lightning flying!), but abroad (Sweden!) you'd have a pretty good chance if you worked with the Swedish Military. So, on that basis, I'd imagine that at some point it will either be sold (unlikely, judging by how much you say has been spent on it) or preserved. If it is the latter, and it's on your land, may I suggest you contact the likes of Demobbed/Wolverhampton Aviation Group and Ken Ellis/Wrecks and Relics (sorry, no contact details to hand) and ask them to include within their publications a note saying either visitors are not welcome, or welcome by prior arrangement only.

Prior arrangement is commonplace with a lot of private owners of military aircraft, and I'd like to think that the 99.9% of us will adhere to your request.
