Traveling back to Aberdeen from Manchester today had a very special surprise in the shape of EC-339 A330 MRTT for the Republic of Korean Air Force at Manchester
Aircraft for attention by Air Livery
Question
I'd be grateful if any one can answer this , when you visit Toulouse for your Airbus fix you can immediately tell the difference between those for the civil and military
Without the aircraft carrying Mark's
Civil green primer
Military sandy primer
Helps us spotters but why the difference !! ???

Re: Manchester 7th june
An observation from visiting Toulouse at the time of NTM when there were two MRTTs outside (c/n 1916 and 1919). Both were in the 'Military sandy primer' and both carried Spanish flags on the fuselage next to the French civil registration.
On checking my photos, an Airbus A330NEO destined for an airline (c/n 1925) was also in the same sandy coloured primer and the tail had been painted with the airline colours.
The remaining Airbus A350s and A330s dispersed around were in the green primer.
