Re: Top Guns Inside The RAF

Everybody to themselves I suppose, different people have their own opinion some like it some don't sort of thing, I thought it was a very informative documentary with real life happenings and I enjoyed it no matter what anyone else thinks.

Reduce the number of Politicians & use the money to find the 2 Wedgetails which were not bought. Simple.

Does that mean that there have only ever been 4 Austrian Typhoons to ever visit the UK? 2 at Leuchars in 2013 & 2 at RIAT Fairford last year.

Re: Some (Slightly) Older Leuchars Memories (Pic Heavy)

Hey there Buccs2b, I'm actually in the rare position on these boards to admit that I was at most if not all of these shows I'm delighted to say, first was 1987 right through to the last one in 2013, great memories of all. If it hadn't been for an incompetent and useless Government Minister we would ...

Re: Enduring Memories of Leuchars BoB Shows ('06 &'11)

Ah the memories, brings a tear to my eyes just thinking of the shows I attended between 1987 and 2013 and the good times of those fantastic airshows, big mistake and a total joke to close this base and give it to the Army (sorry my opinion!), Lossie's a great base, really love the place, but Leuchar...

Re: Ayrshow 2023

As far as I am aware “Blackjack” is the nickname of the specially painted display Typhoon and the Typhoon Display Callsign Matt(?) Brighty the display Pilot is Anarchy 1.

I for one would love to see Blackjack over Ayr Low Green this Weekend - but who knows?
