Just to avoid any confusion, A1101 at Mildenhall. A1065 is Lakenheath.
Apologies everyone, Nighthawke thanks for that, A1101 it is. Will edit my post

Try, The annex at Asbit Lodge In Mildenhall.
Second vote for the Annex, about 3 minutes walk from Mildenhall. It's not as cheap as £30 but a great place to stay.

 Bring on the Blue Angels

As long as Covid is like it is at the moment I not sure if it'll be show stopper once more.. :(

Still prolonged my tickets from 2020
Not seen Blue Angels but got a feeling Thunderbirds are more a possibility with the USAF anniversary

Thanks capercaillie, my first Air Fete. In the days when you had no internet, I remember walking towards the static and identifying the types by their tails.

Phil,
It is very possible that the aircrews returned the 5 miles to their homes at Lakenheath.
Andy
They wouldn't have been Lakenheath pilots Andy, the F-15s would have been flown by Boeing contracted pilots

I remember at the entrance to Earls Court and inside around the arena were displays that sometimes included aircraft, I know some of these were plastic repli...

A book that I thought was a shame they stopped publishing. Even though we have mobile data on our phones a good book to look at was always welcome when at an airfield.
