Re: Gaydon Air Display in the 1960's

They certainly are of interest. WHilst the V-bombers are lovely to see, I really like those Javelins. Probably the one RAF type that I would have loved to see in the air of those I have missed doing so.

Re: Chipmunks Operated by 8 Squadron

If you haven't tried a web search, this may start you off: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/75057-raf-chipmunk-8-sqn/ It seems that WP803 was with 8 Sqn although not certain of dates or whether it carried squadron bars. WK630 is or did fly in civilian hands with markings. Hopeful...

Puddy Boy missed this one I don't know what your problem is with (presumably) "Paddy Boy" or Patrick, but this is the second time this week you have had a dig at him, albeit that your first post was deleted. Patrick frequently comments on most photo posts to show his appreciation for the time the p...

Re: Al Fursan MB339's

Multiple web searches give MM54514 as 6728. Many others, mainly photo sites quote 6735 but may have used an incorrect source.

A starter for you and hope of use.

Re: Tigers...

Another great trip back in time. All lovely but that F-104 has always stood out for me.I also really liked the Portuguese G.91 and French CM.170 both at Fairford 1991. Will have to dig them out if I have decent photos.

Re: RAF BINBROOK hangar & flightline tour 5th August 1987

I certainly did enjoy. I was there that day - one of only three visits ever to Binbrook. Only managed a few poor photos so good to see some decent ones of the day. Thanks for posting.
