True, and they're they're all in for rebuild at Yeovil under the current contract. 19204 has already arrived.

Re: NOTAM 27/8/17

A gentleman in a blue and yellow marked vehicle outside the fence this morning mentioned one aircraft departing c.1145 local as the only outbound movement today. Usual disclaimers.

Keith,
Whilst there's some vg entries in POTM for August, this one must be a candidate?

Re: Scampton Air Show

Perhaps we could have examples of one or two of the RAF's new training aircraft at the show. Has anyone got some phone numbers that they could pass to the organisers?

Biggin Hill 19.08.17

Can anyone tie up the formation of three aircraft (possibly a Hurricane and two Spitfire) holding north of Sevenoaks before a display at BH 1645-1650 please?

Re: Yeovil (Westlands) Sightings Summer 2017

Outside this morning is Portugese Lynx 19204 on ramp minus engines. Tony, on checking, this contract was announced last year at Farnborough. It includes new CTS800s and avionics for all 5. The first of the 8 Brazilians in for similar work was due to be delivered back this autumn. With one in the fl...

Re: Scampton Air Show

Now here's a thing: I've just being talking to a friend (Months ago we both bought a pair of Saturday passes for the Lincolnshire Garden enclosure). He said it's just as well we did, because it's sold out now. You're kidding me? Well I checked and for Saturday, both the Flightline Garden and the Lin...

Re: Scampton Air Show

I hope, if there's one of a similar size next year, that they rethink the pricing. Do you think they can afford to? Perhaps the accountants could tell us, but I fear the cost of putting on a show like this necessitates those sorts of prices. If Joe Public is put off as much as the 'enthusiasts' the...

Re: Possible SP F16's to Lakenheath

Sorry to ask possibly stupid questions. Where can I park my car prior to walking down to the F-16's ramp? Is it a safe place to leave the car (I do not want to annoy an angry farmer!). Do I walk along the road or through the adjacent field(s)? Any benefit from looking across from the warren? Thanks...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread

Park and view (east) on Monday was great. Well organised and managed. Food prices not too high, if you didn't want to bring your own. Special thanks to the ladies and gentlemen (inc AM in aircrew H5) for taking the grief when they asked the white van man to move his vehicle when he parked in front o...
