Re: RAF Compassion Flights
Goose Your right I'm not serving my country and that's my choice and am not saying at all that I disagree with the system infact the guys at work asked the question based on what they saw and to an extent they had a point. When you see a C17 and two pax get off it does not look right. As for New Zea...

FC Members around Newcastle
Hi with the rising cost of fuel and the distance involved in seeing aircraft. I was. Thinking how many members live in the North East of England. I guess this would give us a circle of friends so that car/info sharing could be done. If your from the north east why not introduce ourselves to each oth...

Re: RAF Compassion Flights
Ok just wondered as we have seen 2 C17 movements in the last week from Arab States. First one had 2 pax the second 3. Now I'm guessing the cost of a C17 which should have gone direct to Brize which had to fly to Newcastle then back to briZe would be rather expesive especially under the current clima...

Re: A Chatt With the MOD Police 9,3,11
Once had this very statement of a scanner effecting aircraft navigation systems from a goon with a big gun at Mildenhall. He stated that using a scanner could bring an aircraft done and told me to switch it off. I politely expained that he was talking poo as I have one in my office (airside location...

Re: Two Tornado Sqns to disband
I agree with cutting MP's do we need so many and why do they get expences they chose to do the job. How many of us would get away with falling asleep at work whilst being filmed live on national TV whilst supposedly running the country. I also agree that really there is no threat at all to the uk as...

Re: Two Tornado Sqns to disband
It seems if this keeps going our hobby will be no more. I personally dont blame the government - No I blame those that voted for them. How many must now be kicking themselves in the nuts after loosing their job, home and possibly even more. I also wonder how many of the effected (Police, Armed Force...

Re: Aircraft reg's. Why do you collect them??
Oh Pete what have you done, seems our discussion in Wales got you thinking. Well I see both sides I think. Number collectors - To some I have watched as in Shawbury last week they just want a number why? They clearly have no interest in the aircraft as they just ran from tail to tail as quick as the...
