Re: Masters of the Air - USAF Mighty 8th in East Anglia

Unfortunately the CGI just doesn't hit the mark in some critical details, the go-around in Greenland, and the wheels-up landing in the first episode alone looked like CGI amateur hour. Stuff like that is really quite off-putting. Yes Tony, for 2024 some of the CGI scenes did not really work and mad...

Houthis managed to scratch a Saudi Tornado back in 2020, can’t remember if the crew survived.
Im sure they lost a typhoon on ops as well in 2017. Was put down to technical error.

Re: US and Britain to conduct airstrikes

Is 11 sqn involved? Why do you need to know who is involved. ? What’s the problem? Just seeing the tail codes of the aircraft and seeing two were/are attached to 11sqn. Just an innocent question that’s all. The problem is that publicly identifying the squadron involved may put squadron members and ...

93-0763 looks like a good candidate.

The misaligned grey/grey demarcation on the canopy rail matches.

Thee AAC Apaches have been quite busy round here recently and all of them have been the new model AH64E. Am I correct in thinking that these are rebuilds of the old airframes?
No. They are BRAND NEW airframes, with some kit fitted from the old ones.

VC-10's only one RAF example XR808 is at Cosford and then G-ASGC at Duxford and A40-AB at Brooklands.
It is A4O-AB (Oscar), NOT A40-AB (Zero).

Many thanks for the confirmation of the two at the sewage works...really appreciate it.

My quest for ZM420 continues.

Regards.

Wasn't ZM420 the one that displayed at RIAT 2018?
