If anyone has photos from the west end, could they put a couple up please - just to get some idea of view/aircraft height, etc.

Re: RIAT departures info???

I don't get what you mean about the 'sound' part of the departure day...
but as for the tickets, though available, you can also just pay on the day at the gate - unlike Saturday and Sunday when it's ticket only. Aircraft usually start departing at 9am. Hope this helps. :thumb:

Re: U.S. Navy and U.K. Royal Navy F-35 Unable to Get Aboard

I can never understand why we even bother with the F-35? Pointless hassle! As we all know, the F-18 would have been the perfect aircraft as its already in service, tried and tested in combat & there is already a good maintenance and support infrastructure in place with the manufacturers! Simples! W...

Re: eurofighter cost

I've never heard that figure before. I know originally they were stating costs of approx £68 million, and then a year or so ago there was an enquiry into all the figures and it came to light that the true cost of each plane was approx £100 million. There was a quote a while ago that you can buy 600 ...

Whatever the case with the pair who drove in - be it stupid, naive, or whatever; what the hell is going on with the security, that in this day and age they would just wave a vehicle through completely unchallenged!!! :S :O
