Re: South Korean - Black Eagles

Rumours that three C-130s have left S.Korea recently heading this way. Facebook post the other day showed the jets being dismantled in Korea. Anyone have any knowledge of where they will be rebuilt or where they will operate from when here? Mike Freighted to Stansted and re-assembled at Boscombe

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2022 - General Discussion Thread

You do realise that people are allowed to be disappointed whilst still being grateful they can attend an air show? The irony of someone whining about perceived whining… I wasn't being whiny about anything, but the whiny ones were definitely whining about it rather than airing disappointment, there ...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2022 - General Discussion Thread

There's more whining in this thread than a pair of Rolls Royce Darts spooling up! How about being thankful that you will have a show to go to at all and accept that it may well not be as big as you're used to. There's a lot going on militarily at the moment and, believe it or not, Covid is still a t...

G-DAYP (To be ZZ505) Planned for conversion to R2 standard. G-DAYP is currently at Bournemouth. Saw it emerge from the paintshop in mid March, now all white. No modifications were apparent. I've no record of its arrival. A footnote on the other civvie one, G-GMAD which has been active a few times s...

There's at least one just a bit further up the thread moaning that it's all for the heli fans, that one is pretty close!

They are very heavily modified structurally and to de-mod back to original condition would cost mil...

Reheat
He put it out on twitter himself so I guess he is OK with the publicity. We all handle grief differently..... Whatever works for him I guess.
I used to be a fan of his, not so much these days, but this is a separate thing altogether and I wouldn't wish it on anyone
