Re: A few hours at Lakenheath
And as for a clarification halo, yeah I always push the clarity up a bit, I assume you shoot RAW? You should know all about clarity. Edit. It's quite funny you had to Google it though  Yes I do know about the Clarity filter in RAW yet I have never had it "tarnish" an image quite as badly as t...

Re: A few hours at Lakenheath
Haha what an idiot! I'd send you the original RAWS but I ain't gotta prove anything to you, me and the 30 odd people who stood there all saw it but you always get 1 who gets jealous of other people's work. Look forward to seeing your shots of the raptors. Also just to add if it was photoshopped do ...

A great week you chose for a camping trip!

Re: Lossiemouth Turkey Shoot 7th April
That's a fantastic set Ross and something different from the norm. A great decision to stay put and catch the F-16s with chutes. Cheers, Walter Cheers Walter,it was actually the other way round, standing hoping for chutes at the 05 end when they switched runways, could see cars buzzing all over the p...

Re: Lossiemouth Turkey Shoot 7th April
Brilliant set of photos there. The decision to shift to 23 was well worth it - catching the chutes in use, and showing off the conformal tanks from that angle makes your shots of the arriving Turkish contingent stand out from the other (great) shots I've seen at the other end of the runway. Out of ...

Lossiemouth Turkey Shoot 7th April
Well with a few days booked up at Lossiemouth for week 2 of Joint Warrior the original plan was to drive down to Leeming for the French arrivals on Thursday, but with word coming out that the Mirage 2000`s now weren`t happening I decided to head north instead for the day.....mighty glad I did!! First...

Re: RAF Typhoons heading to Japan in October 2016
I watched a video on You tube a couple of years ago and noticed that on to the JSDAF F-15CJ units was "twinned" with No.3 (F) Squadron at RAF Coningsby. :thumb: One of the Eagles had a nose art showing both the F-15CJ and Typhoon. So a couple of F-15CJ's with tanker and transport that the RIAT woul...

Re: HMS Gannett tribute
So let me get this right the entire flight will be all over Scotland as I don`t see them going south of the border at any time on the flight route they are planning.
Whereas to fly over all of Scotland might take quite awhile
